Here's something I don't do very often: a land skyscape.

In a twist on my usual process, I pretty much made this up as I went along, starting with just the basic idea and adding whatever felt right at the moment. I don't know if it's a process I'll revisit often. I don't like to plan my life out (don't ask me what I'm doing next weekend, 'cuz I'm sure I don't know).

My art though, that's a whole different kettle of fish. I have strategy. I have plans of attack.

Which leaves me with that most wicked question: Is this done? I've got to admit, I like the clouds. But there's a big part of me that wants to do more, maybe add a few members of my odd menagerie to the mix. Maybe stir in a concept or a theme. Got an opinion? I'd love to hear it!*

*artists' disclaimer: ...but in the end I'll selfishly and megalomaniacally do whatever I want (unless you're a client, of course). My wife will maim me over this someday.
