The Year of the Rat or celebrating the Earth begins by cleaning house, huh? Well, actually, I think it begins somewhere in February, right? One request though: please do not throw out any of your "scraps," I would LOVE to see your earlier work too. You are absolutely amazing (and I really mean it!!!). Congrats on all the good things happening in your life!

I have been enjoying all the little changes you are making to your title image. It seems that every time I check in, something fun is going on in that wintery evergreen forest. I especially enjoyed the decorated Christmas tree.

If I haven't already missed them, may I be so bold as to suggest a few paper snowflakes? I've been cutting them since I was 10; if you've never cut them, be warned, they're addictive! The lightest weights of rice paper make perfect tiny ones, they will float pleasantly if you drop them from a height.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from Newark, NJ.
