Thanks all! These ghost pieces have been really great to do, on so many levels. As enjoyable as it is to dig through old traditions, myths and design elements, I only really feel successful if I can find a way to add something new to the mix.

Tim- I think I can guess at their special skills, but I've got one question: Why in the world do gods need guarding??? I mean, they're GODS, right?!?

Neda- It's interesting how concepts like this flesh/mind duality make their way into the artwork, isn't it? Myself, I tend to be overly analytical by nature, so when I do the initial sketches and drawings, I try not to think about what I'm doing too much, lest the work get stiff. But they make it in there anyway. How do you work?

This piece speaks to me on a visceral level, especially that you added director David Cronenberg's comment. There is a constant duality of flesh/mind that permeates a lot of my collage thinking. Most excellent Patrick!
