I totally feel for you. What a colossal stuff up. I made some nengajo recently and had so many panic moments *after printing* when I thought, "maybe next year is not year of the ox, maybe it's not 2009, shite!!...". I *think* I've got it right. So I completely understand 'patoriku no koto'. Calendars are a great idea for the reasons you have mentioned. Better luck next year managing the print-run yourself and maybe interested folks can let you know during the year if they'd like one. All the best. Oh man! I totally feel for you.
