Stirring the Waves

$500.00

Stirring the Waves is like a collection of my favorite iconic elements of the period it was made. It began as a self-initiated art piece shortly after finishing art school, right while I was starting to try to get hired as an illustrator.

There’s my fascination with water and waves, which I still indulge in now (water is, after all, a wonderful symbol for change, movement, and flow). There you can see my continuing interest in holes and what kinds of things pop into and out of them. And there is my obsession with activeness and passivity - moving things versus being moved, acting versus being acted upon.
